Period delay tablets contain norethisterone, a synthetic version of the hormone progesterone. Your period normally starts in response to a drop in the level of progesterone in your body. By taking period delay medication, the progesterone levels in your body are kept high, preventing your period from arriving as expected.

Your period usually resumes two or three days once you stop using taking the tablets.

You will need to start taking the tablets 3 days before your period is due, and you take one tablet 3 times a day. The tablets can be continued until it is convenient for your period to come, which is usually 2-3 days after you stop the tablets.

Like any other medicine, period delay tablets can cause side effects. The most common include breast tenderness, nausea (sickness), headaches, mood disturbances.

If you experience severe or persistent symptoms, seek medical advice.

Norethisterone is not designed to be a contraceptive and should not be used to prevent pregnancy. Alternative contraceptive methods should be used.

• The email must include:
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographic evidence where applicable
• Distributor will provide next steps depending on the nature of the case.

Please allow up to 5–7 working days for your order to be processed. This includes online risk assessment review, prescription, and supplier dispensing and dispatch.

Tracking Information
Tracking details will be issued by the third-party courier provided that:

• A valid mobile number and/or
• A valid email address has been supplied at the time of order.

Delivery Guarantees

• Delivery times via third-party couriers are not guaranteed.
• As a result, the distributor is not liable for any delays caused by the courier
  service.

If a delivery has not been received within a reasonable timeframe:

• The customer must contact MASTA on enquiries@masta.org with order
  details.
• MASTA will initiate an investigation and, if required, arrange a resupply of the
  missing goods.
